The AI is ready, but you are the problem. How to finally be ready for a real AI.

AI tools do not fix broken processes, siloed data, or manual approvals. You bought a thousand Copilot licenses. You sent half the company through a prompting workshop. Balazs Horvath uses "The AI is ready, but you are the problem. How to finally be ready for a real AI." to connect the warning signs to what has to change underneath before AI can run real work, keeping the focus on decisions teams can actually make.

Session details

You bought a thousand Copilot licenses. You sent half the company through a prompting workshop. You even built your own CompanyGPT. The CEO mentioned it in the all-hands, you are "AI-Driven" now, and twelve months later, not a single thing in the business actually runs on AI. People got woken up in the middle of the night and ambushed by some AI initiative, and now they have tools, training and a license bill, and still nothing to show for it. The AI was ready to ambush them. They were not ready to welcome it. The hard part about AI is no longer the technical readiness, there are dozens of models just waiting to be used. It is the company underneath it. Processes that live in three people's heads. Data scattered across spreadsheets and silos. Approval workflows held together by manual copy-paste, goodwill and a lot of hope. I have spent thirteen years building Microsoft solutions for enterprise clients across Europe, and the last four years specifically watching companies try to be AI-ready. They almost always fail at the same twelve checkpoints. So we built a scorecard for it. In this session I walk you through the AI Readiness Scorecard, how it actually scores your organisation across foundation, technical setup and governance, and what the three resulting archetypes mean for your next ninety days. You leave with a score for your own organisation, a ninety-day plan based on where you actually are, and everything you need to make the next AI initiative actually land.
